Scientific Research Department of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (NIS-SU), Bulgaria, is the JOBeL-Bio project contractor, and has been the contractor of the BioINEP project, which achievements are upgraded by JOBeL-Bio. NIS-SU is an independent structure of the Sofia University with main activity in management and implementation of scientific, research and counseling practices of the university. It facilitates transfer of scientific knowledge from Bulgarian universities and academic and research organizations to relevant industrial organizations. The project contractor is responsible for organization and ruling of all contractual and financial matters within the project activities, as well as managing the adaptation/elaboration of training modules of the programme, dissemination activities, and coordination of the project partnership.

Faculty of Biology of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Bulgaria, is the coordinating institution of the JOBeL-Bio project, as well as of the previous BioINEP project. The Sofia University is the largest Bulgarian educational institution responsible for education of more than 30 000 students annually. The university offers the project partnership its professional competence and experience in the sphere of training and methodology, as well as in the field of biotechnology, and contributes with its well-developed dissemination infrastructure for popularization of the project outcomes. The Sofia University is responsible for the efficient development of the project specific actions, achievement of the project main tasks and monitoring and coordination of project phases. It takes care for establishment and support of close links with different partners for realization of project's objectives.


KaHo Sint Lieven - Gent, Belgium is a leading technical university with a field of competence in applied sciences, biotechnology, and environmental protection. It offers the project professional competence in analysis and control of biotechnological processes and products as well as in bioremediation and environment management. Its experience in leading international projects in Quality Management and Biosafety of Food Products contributes to the project partnership with expertise in the application of new technologies in the area of biotechnology and training. KaHo Sint Lieven participates in all phases of the project development.

Institute of Microbiology, Bulgarian Academy of sciences, Bulgaria, is a major research centre with main activities in the field of general and applied microbiology, environmental protection, virology, and immunology. The Institute of Microbiology assists the project partnership with professional competence and knowledge in adaptation and upgrade of project's training materials. The experience in international projects' organization contributes to the local management activities and assurance of smooth project life.

Federation of Trade Unions - Health Services, Bulgaria, has the expert potential at different levels of healthcare, medical science and education and social services. It provides the project partnership with specialized experience in performance of projects oriented toward introduction of innovative standards and practices in education, qualification, and professional improvement. The Federation contributes to the project accomplishment, promoting better social dialogue in the frames of project's objectives and beneficiaries.

"Marie Curie" Association, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with main activities in the social sphere. It offers the project partnership its experience in education and employment of disabled people. The association also deals with searching of preferable industry branches for disabled, and is well experienced in management and participation in local and international projects. It participates in adaptation of the project's outcomes and in dissemination and testing activities.

Geneza Ltd., Gotze Delchev, Bulgaria, is an innovative company specialized in the field of EU legislation and management in Biotechnology and Ecology. It promotes the effective adaptation and use of intellectual property rights systems in technological transfer among companies and between industry and public research organizations, in particular: patent protection in biotechnology and computer implemented inventions, copyright in the digital age, databases security and design.
"Geneza" Ltd. offers training and services to SMEs, universities, public research organizations, and especially spin-off companies, facilitating the establishment of strategic links in exploitation and transfer of knowledge. It possesses well-developed cooperation with the Sofia University and universities, colleges and schools in Southwestern Bulgaria.
"Geneza" Ltd. works closly with the Social Committee of the Municipality of Gotze Delchev and Trade Unions for professional orientation of specialists in different branches.


The University of Perugia, General Pathology Section, Perugia, Italy, is one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe with great traditions in humanities, art, sciences, especially medicine and biology. General Pathology Section has a significant experience in leading and participation in international cooperation programmes and initiatives of EC. It offers the project partnership excellent local management, and well-organized structure for dissemination at national and international levels, and participates in the production and testing phase of the project. It ensures the adaptation of the project outcomes to the already created standards within the project "Biotechnet" in the frames of Socrates programme.

The University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Education, Ljubljana, Slovenia, is an institution of traditions in education. Its staff is well experienced in running national and international projects in various fields. It conducts educational work and scientific research with a special emphasis on electronic engineering and computer science. It contributes to the project development with its competence and expertise in e-design for elaborating teaching/training programme and products. The partner is taking part also in the dissemination and testing activities and different events for popularization of project's outcomes.
